What is the current format?

I know Libre office can convert images to pdf (and is available on Linux)

I also know the windows version of adobe can tile.

I am not sure if this gets you where you want to be. Of course you can take the file to the local office store and pay them to print it full size as a poster. Grab a ruler and have critical dimensions ready for verifying.

Scroll down to the bottom and there's a product called Tile Print. It should do what you want. I've never used it though, so you might want to do some research on it first. But Phil's right, the newer versions of Adobe Reader will do a tile print, but he's also correct that you need to make sure everything is to scale before you start building. Smile

Just a word to those interested in tiling. I have and do use TilePrint here and it is a very good and cheap program for what you get. Just putting this out there in case anyone was wondering about it.

I second that. I bought the Tile Print licence about three years ago and use it for scaling up 3 view drawings to build. That's what I used for my Reed Speed planes. A couple of months ago, my computer died, and I had to rebuild it. I lost the email with the licence code, but when I emailed Black Flight models with my predicament and my email address, he looked me up and sent me out my licence code. I wasn't expecting much when I emailed him, and was ready to shell out the $15 for another licence, but he (I can't remember his name off hand) took care of me. Great guy.

Tile print is good for scaling plans and drawings to any size you want. But, I haven't found a way to use it for .pdf files. But Acrobat reader takes care of those.

Firstly, his name is Andrew Donatelli, spelling may be a bit off. Smile

Secondly, the infamous .pdf files hey...  Well, please allow me to try to help you.
1. Open TilePrint
2. In the top right corner, Go - File - Open - (now choose your .pdf file), or just click on the 'Open' folder just below 'FILE'
3. You should see your .pdf open up on your screen in Adobe.  While open, be sure to set the Adobe screen to 100%
4. Minimize the Adobe screen
5. While back on your TilePrint screen, now click the .pdf button on top, near center
6. Sit back for a second and watch what happens.

Or, alternatively....
1. Open your .pdf file on your computer and set to 100%
2. Open TilePrint
3. When open, click on the .pdf button on top, near center

Please let me know if this works for you.  I just went through both methods here without problems.  Windows 7 Basic.
