How long is the car? what is the Wheel width? Outside of wheel to outside of wheel. Search Cox slot cars. Most are in SAE, American sizes, but it is very hard to find metric nuts and axles for slot cars. If you really need something I think I still have some 3mm axles and bearing from Japan, I spent 2 years there in the late 1960's, and mostly built SAE cars, but some of the races we entered were Japanese, Metric, only. I had a Metric slot car kit when I came back and sold it 2 or 3 years for 2 or 3 times what I paid for it. PM me if you need something in the 2 1/2 inch, 63mm to 3 inch or 75mm range. I usually used axles in those sizes. They may be 2.5 or 3 mm I'm not positive until I measure them. It's only been 43 years.

Are you going to put a Cox .049 in that little car? Also search ebay for Tamiya, HPI, and this.

p.s. you may find some metric gears still. Spur and other. I will use gears from other cars, toys, whatever for my Corvette. Oops did I say that outloud. Also gears from old helicopters. Small to large size.

p.s.p.s.  I bid $3.00 on the gears to keep tabs on them.

i can only point you in the parts direction, i can't find everything for you. Other car parts that would work with Cox are Kyosho. They make the Nissan I think in the other link about Cox cars.

the wheel itself? it must be a wide slick tire or very large in diameter. what is the diameter? what is the width of the wheels outside of wheel to outside of wheel? You really need to look at the Cox Nissan GTP. I found a second one.  Link:

gear sizing for cox powered cars Empty probably 1/10 scale

Post  happydad Mon Sep 28, 2015 12:47 am

cox24711 wrote:in your language the car is 10 1/2 inches long and 4inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall

it sounds like the car is 1/8 to 1/10 scale. I have a 1/8 scale gas car in the garage, but the engine was a .25cu.in. and it is about 17inches long, so I would lean to 1/10 scale. My old RC10 electric offroad car is 1/10 scale and is about 14inches long so maybe 1/12th scale, but that isn't common here. 1/10th, 1/16th, 1/18th are common. Don't ask me who makes the scales. I also have 1/16 scale electric 4x4 offroad and it is about 10 inches in length. I can give you some car names and the parts are available thru hobbyking. It is based in China, but has a warehouse in Australia. Not all parts are available in all warehouses.
One of my cars is the Turnigy 1/16 4x4 Mini Trooper SCT (ARR), and the other 1/16 Brushless 4WD Short Course Truck w/ 25Amp System.  When you get to hobbyking, if you choose to, search cars and parts, almost ready to run, offroad, electric, then scroll down to the Turnigy 1/16 4x4 Mini Trooper SCT (ARR), or the 1/16 Brushless 4WD Short Course Truck w/ 25Amp System. Make sure you choose the International warehouse because that is the only place that you will find "spare parts" right below the price. there you will find things like gears, etc. Also you should see below the reviews, tabs and one of them is: files. In the files will be you should see a files called Manual. This is the Manual for that car or truck. In the manual are ALL the parts, gears, motor, battery, etc.

here is a sample of the manual Page 5.

I have 1 of the above and I got one for my grandson. The other grandson will get the 1/16 turnigy 4WD SCT next month.

the SCT 4WD path is similar. If you want to buy stuff see if it is available in the Australian warehouse first. If you are looking for part numbers or manuals go to the International warehouse first.
you are welcome.

this pic might get you thinking. Most of these parts should be available thru Cox or Kyosho or ask on CEF for help for rear wheel gear for a certain car. (Vega in this case).

Greg, my Jerobee has a ratio of 1 : 5,6. The gear on the engine has 10 teeth and the gear on the axle has 56 teeth. Earlier cars had a 1/7 ratio. The rear wheels are 56mm diameter and are 39mm wide. Typre JEROBEE or JOMAC on EBay and you'll find gears and tyres. However, the gear on the engine is a Cox part.
