Just to amuse myself I just sent him the following message to see how he responds. It's fun to play stupid.

I saw your ad and $1.00 is a good price for those engines and I'm interested in seeing pictures of the other sides of the engines so I can check for missing parts. Please let me know if they are still available.

Sounds like the seller is attempting to reassure him/herself that he/she knows what they're doing, when in fact they don't. The Fox may be worth something. Perhaps a KC resident might drop by, inspect, then make an offer if worth it, but certainly not $100.
