Super Bowl 50 poll: Cam or Peyton

My heart and head are with Peyton, but were I a betting man, money would be on the Panthers.

Yep, totally agree...but again anything can happen. I'd love to see Payton win it, but think Ron Rivera (Ditka DNA) and Cam are gonna roll. I'll be pulling for underdog, but don't dislike either team.

All I hope for this evening is to see a high scoring game and a few NON political commercials... used to be Budweiser was king (I do not drink that brand) and I always enjoyed what they did... best ever was the baby Clydesdale trying to move the waggon and mom and dad helping

Hey thanks for droppin' by, fans and indifferents alike. I hate to pull against Peyton, and Gamecock safety Darian Stewart, but I'm going with the local team. I just saw an interview with Cam and my impression is that he's for real a good guy. So with about an hour to go,

Peyton it is. I'm disappointed, but it couldn't have gone to a better guy. Congratulations Broncos.

i liked both teams for various reasons and found it hard to cheer for one team, even thought the panthers were suppose to win easy i found myself hoping they could come back, with all the turnovers it was a fun game.

I'm unable to vote. Didn't even watch the game.

So true, Bob. And that was a dialed in shut-down defense. Carolina made mistakes that sealed the deal, but if they hadn't been so challenged, they wouldn't have made as many blunders. That punt return was a real head shaker, the Panthers all thought the return man called a fair catch and set him free. The press is upset that Cam didn't have much to say, but he was dying inside. I expect his NFL maturity grew up a bit last night, and he'll handle it better next time. Hope so.

Yes Rusty, There was true emotion shown on the Carolina side after the game. Players crying unashamed with heads in hands. It's tough to go 17 and 1 in the regular season then lose it all in the big game. To bad there has to be a second best.

On the other hand Cam (My grandson is named after him) was a big disappointment both during and after the game. His appearance in the after game show was disgraceful.

He's an emotional guy. I think he was just beaten inside, couldn't talk, so I don't consider it disgraceful. But it would have shown a little class to congratulate Manning and the Broncs. That's what I meant by maybe he'll grow up some from this. Maybe now he learns it's easy to be classy when sailing smooth seas, but takes more guts when the going gets rough. I felt bad for all the guys on the team. I hope he lives up to his namesake's parents expectations. If he wasn't a good guy, his team mates and coaches wouldn't love him so much.

The halftime "entertainment" was a national disgrace. Don't understand the NFL overtly supporting that garbage.

I would love to have seen some homage paid in the 50th SUPER BOWL to all us old farts who have NEVER missed a game.... yes Virginia I have seen EVERY one even when deployed to a combat area.....or in a real bad time zone however AFN* had the game live for we who stayed up to see it in the day room

In fact, I did not see ONE commercial that appealed to me or my sense of nostalgia..... did Budweiser even have a commercial...Coke? I maybe they did, but it did not stick to my old grey matter...like a few years back with the baby Clydesdale trying to pull the wagon....( I don't drink Bud but love their commercials)

Hell I even remember the old Go Daddy commercials cuz they titillated me...web site review later was a let down....Danica never got nekid....dang!

I don't know if it was regional but I remember a H.E.B ( regional grocery store chain) that had an ad for "how to make a Texas" that was memorable and fun to watch....for me

Half time show? Didn't watch it. I checked in a couple of times to see if the game had started again only to see some guy down on his knees leading a bunch of other people down on their knees.
