Got Steam?
My wife never uses these.. and would probably have thrown them out by now. I thought I'd save them to test on a wing-warp someday. Of course a teakettle will work if the SO lets you in the kitchen with model airplane parts!
Although this little hand-held travel-unit states the use of tap-water; distilled-water is the only type that you should use in any steamer. Distilled-water greatly reduces mineral-deposits on the coil(s) and will extend the life of the unit.
Maybe you already have one of these lurking in the hall closet? I think that the Conair unit might work really well in the shop. The base can be placed on the floor.. or somewhere out of the way, while the wand is held face-up in a bench-vise; leaving both hands free to twist.
