This needs a bit of a clean but runs very nicely. My eyesight is getting worse - thought was a diesel!

I do have a Merco 35 under restoration. I scout around for them because they were the most common stunt engine here in the 60's but I only move on one if it has a silencer. About 10 of them have passed through my hands - I swap and barter with engines all the time and only keep the best.

I hadn't realised that Mercos had made their way to the USA - rare for a British engine but last year I got the Don Stills Stuka kit (not yet built) and that showed a Merco.

Mercos here were well used and abused! Difficult to find a good one. Spares - non existent!
