It has been done. I’m sure the seller had evil underlying reasons for promoting this type of racing set.

Yes, wheel scuff. I used the arc to help me find the tethers nail hole.
Lot's of possibilities. With the two car, same direction or opposite directions (head-ons). Four car - multiplies of those.
I have candidates...the open wheel Indy cars. Or remove the Buick bodys and stick on some 1/24 scale
Ya gotta love this guy..........
BTW - Not a fan! Never been to one.

But I think I know what you mean as you take good care of your automobiles and your in the business. Me too. I hate to see vintage cars destroyed and often think of the 34 thru 39 Ford coupes that were raced to destruction when I was growing up.
