As you can tell, I am goofing a bit up above. But seriously, I would not and do not advocate drinking and flying at all. It will just make you spend money and heaven forbid you crash into someone. It is listed in the AMA saftey code/guidelines.

The intention was a for an apre (after)flying shot to calm the rattled nerves while you are picking up the pieces of your crashed plane.
