Looking For Comet Tri-Pacer
WANTED!!! Anyone out there have a decent Comet Piper Tri-Pacer that they would part with? I'm looking for a nice, complete airplane, need not be in a box, as I would like to hang this one at my big brother's house. He's 80 years old, and like all my other brothers, had a gas powered model airplane but he doesn't remember what it was. I have some vague memories of the two color Tri-Pacer, especially the tail surfaces, from when I was VERY young. I think they only made it in yellow and blue, did they not? If anyone has one, send me some photos and asking price. I have airplanes to trade also. i won't mind doing some cleaning up , freeing up the engine and such either. I think once he sees this, it will jar his failing memory, especially if he can hold one in his hands! Thank you very much in advance!!
