Tee Dee .020 Tank size? Empty Tee Dee .020 Tank size?

Hi all!

I picked up the aluminum backplates for my leaky-tanked .020 Tee Dees. These two engines are planned for a micro-CL DH Mosquito based on the Brown/Novotnic plans found some time ago.

Since my tanks leaked, I have no way to determine their volume. I have no desire to spin myself into the ground. One-and-a-half to two minutes flying time is the goal (closer to 1.5 is fine).

Does anyone know the original volume, or even run-time to X-number cc's? I've spent thirty-forty minutes looking all over the internet...either this is unpublished info, or I'm a complete stone today!

Thanks in advance,

Jim in MS

4 to 5cc is good for CL / TD .020
5cc if you are fiddling prior to launch most times
or if you plan to run it a bit rich with a big prop.

I get 6 mins ish with a lean setting TD .020 RC / 15cc tank.
A TD .010 lean speed setting gets about that much time on 10cc
My speed prop TD .020 on pressure can slurp down a 20cc tank in 7min. ish

I appreciate the numbers! Time to determine real estate on the little engine nacelles and hope to find a 1/4 oz tank.

I think this little guy will be around 21"-22", with no stunt capacity. This means even the little Perfect cube tanks may work out just fine.
And I may try the auto-pilot thing talked about in the Sterling PT-19 thread some time ago (bucket, post, and two-line pivoting control).

Pics to follow as I work this in closer.
