There is still one open here in the valley; 1/24th flat road course, drag strip & HO road course. Really nice bunch of guys too. There probably closed during the lockdown but hopefully they will open back up after the bugs are gone.

I clicked Fred's link and got a bunch of tracks in Tasmania?? The site says "tracks near me", but they never checked the map. Last trip to Tasmania for me was a 12 hour boat ride. Long way to go to play with slot cars.

Here's some info. on a facility in S.E. Massachusetts in the town of "Ashland" (borders Framingham) which originally opened in 1965.

My grandfather gave me his Cox "Cucaracha" around the same time.

The rear wheels/tires on the Cucaracha are aftermarket.. as the original white-rubber ones had hardened. I still have them though.. (check out the knock-off hubs..  Cool )

i play with the smaller Aurora Thunder-Jets, and later Af/x, HO scale, seems to be big with the over 50 crowd!

Check out the aurora ho store display tub from the 60s. Gotham Cruisers makes a nice reproduction. Go to custom on their website. Wonderful piece!! Mark
