Updates: Pictures added. The lines on the lugs that look like cracks are only molding marks; they are on all my other engines.

Goes on eBay Sunday if no takers here. Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow.

Price is $30.00 shipped to the lower 48 states. I ship internationally for an additional cost.

NO broken lugs, and NO cracks whatsoever on the back plate. This engine has just been overhauled. New reed, all gaskets replaced, new cir-clip, new pickup tube/spring, back plate screws, and prop screw/washer. I'll throw in the old gasket/copper reed if you want. thoroughly and meticulously cleaned inside and out. Excellent compression, the normal scratches on the tank. Includes a knurled TD high compression Performance head, which glows bright and hot. Includes a 4.5x4 Thimble Drome prop.

I didn't realize that .020 heads were made standard and TD style. Have a pic?

I believe the knurling on the .020 heads indicate an early production, and a different internal shape, but with a similar compression ratio as the un-knurled heads. The later .020TD where all delivered with un-knurled heads as far as I know.

Here are some pictures, not sure if it will come out okay. The knurled head is to the left in all images. Both heads are conical in their shape and identical as far as I can tell.

odd. my peewee has a normal compression head and its head is hemispherical.

Yes, with a straight slope towards the glow filament (checked with a straight edge).
Not hemispherical like they are on the BabeBee heads.

The .049 TD also has straight edges but these are at a smaller diameter and it resembles a trumpet shape unless looked at carefully, like in this dissection;
