My son and I built this a week or so ago, it's since been covered. He told me what he wanted and I put it together. It was fun! I still need to adjust the trim. It has flat wings with no airfoil so we shall see how well it does. It glides well as is but, I wonder what it will do under power.

It has Indra's little pee wee up front.

Yeah Indra, he loves it. He liked the red tank. His first Cox engine and hopefully not his last!

Of course all mine will be his when I croak!

Best luck with it. Dihedral in wings help FF models. Great little plane for PeeWee is Midwest Sniffer. BMJR sells them.

Put a bellcrank on it and fly it control line . It will not be stable with out the dihedral. The Sniffer is a great first freeflight model and is nice and stable with it's polyhedral wing.Your model is very nice but it will last a lot longer as a control line model.

Dihedral it has, airfoil is does not. Basically it has flat sheet balsa wings. The theory is since it's light it will be like the little gliders without airfoil.

Maybe sand one into it Ron, or keep it "ebenezer" style as it will require less space to fly.

The Jetco R.O.G. has a flat airfoil and they can fly for over two minutes on a rubber band and a plastic prop.An airfoil does help a bunch but flat wings can also fly .That is a nice picture of the little boy and his plane. It is so refreshing to see a kid with intrest in the hobby and building /doing something other than sitting in front of a T.V or computer .Good luck on the maiden flight...

Mike,

He is more ate up than I am. He gets me in trouble with Mom as he doesn't know when to shut it off!

Much like me, he finds the tele and vid games a waste of time.

The model is 95% done. It's covered and painted up need to do some trimming and it's off to the field. If it crashes so be it! We will have a good laugh and rebuild!
