By all means VOTE!
I narrowed my vote down to 2, and after that It was
mainly preference. I can appreciate what the entriants
were shooting for, but some of embellishments seem
to steer the purpose of the theme of the contest off
course. It may be me, but I like photos that focus on a
particular engine, and portray them in the best light.
Old and getting crankier,
Bob

Bump, I have voted too.
I'm a little surprised to see an engine on a display stand, that is just placed on top of an electrically powered airplane, getting so many votes. What am I missing?

The story behind the Cox 010:
I acquired the engine at Toledo show/swap meet, about 3 years ago.
The cylinder/piston, crankcase, crank, cracked venturi. The main portion of the engine. Paid about $20.00
It was super dirty and the piston was really stuck!
My Toledo Special --- Cox 010
I purchased all the other parts from EX Model Engines and Cox International to build the engine you see in the photo.
Fuel tank, the stand, wrenches, gaskets, reset tool, spring starter, spinner, screws, fuel line, everything to bring the Cox 010 back to what you see in the photo.
I had to make a brass strap to mount the engine to the stand because that aluminum fuel tank doesn't fit the holes in the stand.
The stand is made for the Cox fuel tank which is smaller.
I was going to post another engine, but now that one will be for next month.
This is my 1st and only Cox 010 engine in my collection.
I have many other Cox engines from 049 to .15 already in my collection. And all have been run (one time or another).
The plane is called a Spook. This Lil' Spook has a 24" wing span compared original Spook at 96" wing span.
I used the Lil' Spook because Halloween is this month.

Well my little Cox 010 sitting on this original size Spook with a Brown Jr. engine would get lost?
Besides the contest is for Cox engines and not Brown Jr. engines?
