One of my first........Red blister pack .049
Mid 50's. Bought several. One fly-away is still in NH. Rest probaly tossed out by Mom when I joined the Navy.
Ebay $36.51 sold as used, but shelf rash only. Never ran. Original owner carefully opened the blister to save the packaging.
Clean-up
Black neoprene pick-up with no filter that I can see.
No Made in USA

Thanks Jacob...........I am not alone!!!
Looks like we are both lower left corner card guys. I have been trying to think of a way to iron it out and lay it flat like yours. Heat too dangerous, but there must be a way. Is there a site that ID's these blister pack colors to year of mfg.? I know there are other colors and black.
Mean-while I got the vintage Golden Bee today. Nasty greasy thing as I have shown before.
Got it all cleaned and assembled and expected a nice smooth pull-through and a compression pop. Didn't get it, just that dreaded mid-pull though drag indicating either a bent crank, bent con-rod, or out of round cylinder.
I knew it wasn't the crank, and didn't expect a bent con rod. Then I remembered, when I was putting it back together i noticed this dimple right between the exhaust ports. Going to swap our cylinders tomorrow to know for sure.
Oh, - Cylinder - 2 bypass no booster. No Made in USA on backplate. High compression head. Thin Wall.
Clean, but still not pretty.
