Cox Engine of The Month
New Acquisition

New Acquisition
My friends, one of the Cox engines that I like the most is the .020 Tee Dee, a very powerful engine for its size and with the possibility of making beautiful model airplanes, in a relatively large size.
Well, here in my country a while ago this was on the sale line, so I finally decided to buy it, I paid about 70 US$ for it, it was launched only a couple of times.
It has the keys, the glass box and the additional plate. I think it was worth NOT letting go!
Once I received it, I cleaned it, it was not necessary to disassemble it, I just made sure to free the venturi needle and clean the venturi orifices as well as the spray bar, put a gasket on the glow plug, since it was missing and I started.
Fantastic!...the motor works perfectly...I feel happy! and another Cox engine recovered and to good life!

Re: New Acquisition
I could not agree more, Mauricio...I have a 020 TeeDee in the nose of my Roaring 20 and it has been in service for many many years now...still as-new compression, and turns the 3-bladed COX prop above 25k in the air..the 020 TeeDee is a terrific engine...good for you and I am sure the engine will have many hours air time in your fleet.

Re: New Acquisition
Beautiful engine Mauricio and a very fair price. I expect that one day it will find it's way onto one of your spectacular creations.
