I dont know if its a common thing to do and I haven't noticed it before in any pictures, and I assume that others who fly Profiles with Slab wings and no wheels over grass also have the problem that the plane flips over when it lands and I have found it often breaks the fin which frustrated me no end. So I used a small piece of piano wire as a roll bar sych that when the plane lands and flips upside down the Fin cannot hit the ground. The plane pictured has had around 30 flights over grass with no wheels and often flips upside down when landing and the fin is still intact. Thumbs Up

I couldnt think of, and dont know of any other ways to solve the problem. Very happy if others know how to stop the plane flipping on landing and or other ways to stop the Fin getting broken when the plane does flip.

The wire loop at the bottom of the fuse under the table is where the stooge pin on my launch table goes through to hold the plane. Its a paper clip. lol! cheers

You remove the fin, it's only decoration.

Yabby,

Good for you!
I'll say that is the first time I've seen this idea...and I like it. If I ever get to train a newbie flyer, this "roll bar" will be on that plane.
