Finally got Bob's Gilbert "Skyflash" up to speed enough for it (maybe) to fly at this summer's SIRS' Vintage Model Aviation Celebration on July 8th.

These guys have a beautiful, paved runway out in the prairie land of Central Illinois, close to Bloomington.

I intend to take a bunch of plastic RTF control liners with just a drone or maybe Mud Dabber along to do the photographic duties.

Looking forward to a big time with Jerry and the boys!!!!

Wow Kim, I looked at it and thought poor Kim he's had to hold this thing together with bubble gum and bailed hay wire........ then I noticed that you just tied it down for an engine run.   Sounds like my Grandfathers old Model T running on three.

I'm eager to see it in flight.

Yeah Bob!

Once the current sustained and irritating winds subside, I'm gonna make a run over to the airport at Cairo for its first flight.  The WILL be photos and video!

Thanks Man!!!  But credit goes to Bob for his restoration, and then using the bucks to send it here.
