Aluminum Backs Empty Aluminum Backs

Post  Iceberg Wed May 10, 2023 10:33 pm

Hi Guys
I have obtained 6 of the new backs in aluminum. They look great. Seal a bit ok on the tank Roddie gave a good suggestion to use dental floss to seal. Ok now there reasonable too. Plenty of airflow on the high RPM engines. BUT.......

The needle setting seems to be way too much open. I thread the needle valve all the way in and possibly back it out about 1/4 turn only. Then possibly ok.  This seems strange. Is there a way to use a shorter needle or other way to meter the fuel better? Good potential but still not up to my standards there yet. Any ideas?

Thanks
