I built a SIG Akromaster for a Medallion .15 about eight years ago, covering the wing in yellow Monokote and the fuselage in blue.  I hung it up on the garage wall without finishing the trim, and it just never got done.  I'm figuring that I can finish off the trim real quick and have it ready for S.M.A.L.L., but I need to do the U.S. ARMY letters.  I have a .svg file to do the roundels so that's just a quick cut on the Cricut machine.  But I need the font to do the lettering and aircraft numbers.  Anyone know what font I should be using for them?

Hi batjac,

For a .15 Acromaster, I suggest a 1/4in brush. Acrylic dollar store paints.
Keep the 'powerwash/sandblasters' away from balsa.
Navy floats on many coats, of paint.
Respect,
Dave

Mark, this link may be more what you are looking for:

https://www.daveplattmodels.com/Links/US%20Military%20Markings/Markings.htm

He has links to manuals he has downloaded in PDF to include the Army's. As far as a specific font you can download, say a PC font that looks military, that I don't know.

Mark, I don't know if there is a real font that corresponds, but here is how to construct the letters "Old School".

Thanks for all the replies, My Friends. This should be more than enough for me to get the job done, and information saved for future projects.
