I ran these today on both glow and ignition. I have a Larry Davidson solid state ignition setup and a lithium pack. The red .33 was the only one I had  run on glow and no ignition because the spring steel in the timer is too long. I need to trim it as it's holding the points closed.  Almost every one of these on glow were practically one flip starts. I truly enjoy running these engines. While many are quite anemic, they're really enjoyable to run. The Mite .049 is one of my favorite little engines. At a glance, it seems like nothing, but up close, these are fascinating little engines.

Those are nice engines Ken, Just something intriguing about sparkers…..I’ve kinna looked at it but just never pulled the trigger…..I used to have a Maytag washer engine that was fun to run just because…..I “get it” on simply taking the time to bench run….. My fav’s for that are a couple of OK Cubs and few simple bees…

Keep in mind, you don't need to run them on ignition. Just put a glow plug in and feed them lots of castor, equally as enjoyable. You can also run the ignition with glow fuel or gasoline mix. I prefer Walmart white gas and oil.
