I received this with a bunch of Cox items including a Stuka Black Knight. I don't recall the Black Knight having this type of fuel tank though.

Does anybody recognize this as a Cox fuel tank?

They look like the tanks used in Cox Chipmunk and ME-109. Being black probably ME-109

Hi dondaniels59,
I can say that is a black tank from the foam wing Cox Me-109. (a white one is from the chipmunk)
Both excellent flyers.
They flew great until pavement got in the way. Sad
The tanks worked very well, post crash proved how simple the tank worked.
The 'back plate' ,dual port, fine needle, on those things, could easily match a TD.049, back then...
Hope this helps,
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave
