Mine is a bit rough and would like to find one in better shape.

Rough is GOOD! ...means it can be bolted to an airframe with a clear conscience !!!!!!

Just my opinion of course !

We'd all like to find 1. Any way, just have yours re anodized better yet buy a blue sharpie and go to town! Okay just kidding about the sharpie. P.S 1+ for making such a cool mount it looks like the reflection of the engine is an airplane Smile

Well, I may have damaged it a little. I didn't know I needed to remove the needle when I pulled it apart. Bet the needle a little and grooved the venturi end that slides into the backplate. I fixed the needle but didn't fix the groove. I guess I could polish it out and dab some silicone in there to let it seal better.

Travis,

You would be hard pressed to find a mint tank out there. At best you might find one with fewer blemishes.

You might just have it re-anodized. Cheaper in the long run.

What Kim said holds some merit.

There was a guy Leo Squires who ran Stoneway Cox products. He made some fine looking Cox engines from hand tools. Anadizing etc. He I belive is still around and maybe able to resto your tank. Don't laugh but a marker would help. I used one on a McCoy .049 Diesel and it looked good.[much better]. If you run it then I say no.
Dan lol!
