Resetting Queen Bee piston?

Searched and couldn't find anything specific - What tool works to reset a QB piston? 09 tool? (Altho that may beg the question, since 09 reset tools seem thin on the ground)

I have an 049 tool that, sort of, fits the upper end of the noticeably tapered rod. Might work if the slot is carefully opened up to fit the rod better. However, thought I would ask around before ruining both my 049 tool and a presumably irreplaceable QB piston.

Yes, the reset tool for the 074 is the same for the 09. It is pretty difficult to find an 09 reset tool, but I am sure somebody will chime in here if they have one for sale.

I would caution against modifying the 049 tool as it would probably result in damage to the 074 piston.

I got the last one that Thomas was selling but Bernie at Cox international bought a few. Maybe email him and see if he is willing to part with one. Never hurts to ask.

If you ever find a 15 reset tool grab it quick. Not sure if there was ever a 15 tool available from Cox. Maybe there is a drawing of one that Matt or Tom has of a 15 reset tool to confirm that one did exist.

Surely one could be made easily, What says you Jason?

I saw a plan on how to make an .049 one over at the .049 group. The anvil was 2 piece to ensure the base was flat.
