Golden Bee Empty Golden Bee

Post  AT1984 Mon Sep 12, 2011 12:28 pm

I just saw a 1958 Golden Bee on eBay that sold for $13.40. It looked nice, for as old as it was. The crankshaft wouldn't turn, though...

Golden Bee Empty good deal

Post  AT1984 Mon Sep 12, 2011 1:32 pm

Germanbeez,

This one would have been a great deal...less than 10 Euros! I was stationed in Schweinfurt, Bamberg, and Wiesbaden. What part of Bavaria are you from?

I was in Schweinfurt '82-83, Bamberg '85-'88, and Wiesbaden from '01-04. I've only been to Munich twice. The people in Bavaria are nicer than in Hessen!

Do you have a nice field to fly at? I'm getting into C/L flying.
