G'day dankar04.
Is this engine sill available? If so, I'd be happy to take it for advertised price. Only problem is that tomorrow I'm going bush for the week and won't even have mobile phone access - Oz is a big place with very few people. I'll be back next weekend. I'll pm you with my details.
Cheers

Re: SOLD <>< Cox .074
Price is excellent for this engine. I was going to build Super Sniffer with this engine, but found I have nice brushless motor and esc. Plus a batch of li-po's so no need. Nice Cox engine and let someone else enjoy it.

We have sold many dozens of them over the years and I have one in my collection, so I don't have to have it lol.
I was just offering to buy it seeing that no one else stepped up to the plate but if you want to buy it then I will bow out, no worries

Re: SOLD <>< Cox .074
If you PP us the funds under the "personal" tab (that way we receive the funds "net") to support@coxengines.ca we will send dankar a cheque. Just a favour to you
Re: SOLD <>< Cox .074
Bernie that's incredibly generous.
Dan
PayPal is great as long as you remove
The funds as soon as it appears in your
Account.
Remember it's not only very costly for us
To send US funds (my bank charges £27/about
$45) it's a hassle.
Get your buyers to send a 'gift' that way
They lose all the usual 'protections' and you
Are truly in the driving seat.
Finally if your PayPal has been closed.
Just open another one in a different email
Address.

Re: SOLD <>< Cox .074
Dan,
I certainly do not mean to step on toes but the reason sellers like PP is because the funds post quickly. The 3-4% fee is insignificant in the context of things.
The reason buyers like PP is the measure of protection it offers them. Although you are undoubtedly an honest and upstanding person, some sellers are not. Paying by cheque is basically non-recourse.
With exceptions aside (such as you and other sellers that have proven reliable) we have ceased to pay for merchandise with cheques as we have been burned on several occasions.
We transact well over 5,000 PP transactions per year (that is an average of 13 per day) and there really has never been one where PP screwed up. They have a long list of policies and they adhere to them. Some are definitely biased towards the buyer, I would agree.
However, they are likely the biggest clearing house for on-line sellers and are a trusted venue for payments. Buyers love PP and, if we did not accept payment via their services, would have to close our businesses.
For good or bad, snail-mail payments are almost extinct and the vast majority of “Gen-Z” have never used such.
In closing, I refer back to my OP; we will buy the engine. Please ship it to our address located here:
http://coxengines.ca/about-us.html
Once that you have confirmed that you are doing so we will mail you a company cheque to the address that you can specify in an email to us. If you let us know that you are shipping the engine tomorrow, we will mail a cheque tomorrow as well.

Re: SOLD <>< Cox .074
Bernie,
With all due respect PP is fine for you. Not me. I had them pay wrong party and issue was never resolved. I'm out money paid to someone I did not even know or order from. I used them for over ten years with no problems. It was good until this issue. Its great for buyers, small time sellers just another fee to pay. Large volume sellers fine. When you have a problem you get thrown into a cyber loop. Anyway I have been around and not first Rodeo. $45.00 for a new .074 not a bad deal and sell it elaseware. Thanks for concern and input.
