Re: Available Sterling Kits
Having gone through recent the experience of purchasing a "second-hand" kit I would ask the seller if it is complete with all components as new.
My purchase wasn't but the manufacturer is still in business and graciosly made good of the deficiencies. Sterling is no longer in business.
Draw your own conclusion.

Re: Available Sterling Kits
I hear you Dave, bought a Ringmaster and kit arrived with all parts for wing missing. Bad deal bought sight unseen. Old kits get canablized real easy. Qwner forgot they needed some wood and never replaced it. Sterling kits in C= series had metal cowls that go south real easy.
Another major RED Flag is selling for a friend, almost a sure thing for incomplete kit. Then again some are good, depends on what they want for them. I'm not a collector jsut sucker for a bipe.

Dan:
As with buying used car "sight unseen" REGARDLESS of price one can't be too carefull.
I'm also weary of sellers who offer items "cheap" to lure the "suckers".
In the words of the immortal John Wayne: "Stupid hurts!"

If it's Ron's usual 'man' I'd tear his arm off to get it, if I were in the market for an aeroplane on a string......

Re: Available Sterling Kits
I am not doing anything more than making these kits "known" to whomever may be interested. The final sale will be between the seller and buyer.
That being said "buyer beware"
The seller has never steered me wrong before and is an honest fellow in my book. I fall into many deals and I just like to share the wealth.
