Re: Why was CEF off-line?
Basically what I was insinuating; DNS change.
We just moved our store to a VPS last weekend and went through the same thing.
By now the forum IP should have propagated worldwide. For those still experiencing lack of access, follow the steps outlined in the previous post.

Most major ISP's refresh their DNS cache hourly but some only do this every one or two days.
Also, even if your ISP's cache is refreshed, if your "cookies" are still holding on to the old IP, it may take a cache clear on your PC or a reboot.
Re: Why was CEF off-line?
Is that where the expression "Toss your cookies" originated?

Is it due to civil unrest or is it a random act of terrorism?

Re: Why was CEF off-line?
Have you tried another browser? If that works, try running CCleaner on your default browser. That's the best I've got for suggestions. Networking and internet are my weak area of computer knowledge.WingingIt74 wrote:I'm still unable to get online at home.

Re: Why was CEF off-line?
I'm on a Mac Haven't used CCleaner in years. I've tried all my browsers, nothing. The ISP is a small town one and sometimes they take forever...
Re: Why was CEF off-line?
And the forum is on shared hosting (same IP for many) so you can't even circumvent your ISP and go to HTTP://173.192.5.218
directly.
By the same token I doubt your ISP is to blame as DNS should be refreshed ages ago worldwide.

I wonder if this thread will die now.
