My .010 spring is acting like a cam starter - it constantly rubs against the prop, and whenever you wind it back it catches on the prop. Is this normal? I'm thinking I need to bend the loop end back a little.

Thanks is advance.

Also, the coil is rubbing against the drive plate, which can't be good.

Bend it back, the .010 springs are pretty tiny and go out of shape easily. I had a couple do that to me and I just bent the tang back.

I had an .049 that did that too and I decided it was no big deal until I saw what it did to the prop after a run. Nearly wore right through the prop!!!!

Thanks Ron. I was able to bend the tang back, but not the coil - nowhere to bend it.
