Any Cox engine in anything?

Just anything that flies and makes noise and smoke would be my pick. I could never win a total laps contest, but I would gladly keep count. Half of my flights aren't laps anyway, just buzzing around every which-a-way.

Glad you asked John, yes same airframe and engine for 365 days that way we repair and rebuild as we go. A learning experience and we give Bernie and Matt more business.

Sorry Rusty, I missed your post. I think Coxes would be best, but if you are not running any at the moment I think the rules could be stretched. We also could do a friendly competition between us CL'rs and just compete with flights regardless of engines.

Let me streamline this idea and post back.

How about just counting the all-up flight time?

I would lose miserably, (for lack of transportation) but would like to participate.

But... way back when I was proddy racing my X7, the engines creator asked what I was running it on?
4 star I replied.
He gave me an analogy that'll always stay with me, as you can see it was of it's time but,-
"You wouldn't take Raquel Welsh on a date to the local chip shop and expect to get her drawers off
would you"?
I took the hint and started using Avgas, it ran better, holed pistons less but cost a fair bit more.

I always smile when the guys here talk about tuning their engines then say they're running it on 'Old spunkys
supa dupa car mix'.
