010 cylinder OD

Was playing around with my engines today, getting them ready to install in an aircraft, went to put my exhaust throttle on the second 010 and it didn't work, so i figured it was leaking, went to measure the cylinder od and noticed the new one was a little over .8mm thinner!! thats quite a difference Shocked

almost 1mm, and the wall is noticeably thinner looking through the ports...

Is this normal? how much variation is there with these cylinders, both are the red versions...

Here are the readings I am getting on my .010s that I have:

8.27mm black version
8.27mm black version
8.23mm red version
7.64mm red version
7.66mm red version
7.68mm red version
7.68mm red version
8.20mm red version
7.67mm red version
8.18mm red version
8.18mm red version
8.18mm red version
7.68mm red version
8.22mm red version NIB
8,28mm black version from 1990
8.28mm black version from 1990
8.31mm black version from 1990

From that data it looks like there are 3 different size categories:

Early version ~7.7mm
Later version ~8.2mm
Last version ~8.3mm

I can add 3 more measurements in a week but I think you have the data you need. Shocked

looks like its an early one, gonna have to make a new throttle.
