I haven't posted one of these in a while, and stumbled across this one the other day.  Mr. Hill was one of my early heroes in this hobby.  His passionate pursuit of Speed, Height, and Distance flying R/C planes fired my youthful imagination.

His last, greatest R/C Project was building and launching an R/C plane that crossed the Atlantic Ocean a few years ago.  
In the years WAY before our current, fantastically dependable (AND affordable) Radio Gear, he was taking R/C planes up into Airliner Country, or blasting purpose-designed speed planes through timer traps, trading titles with the Ruskies on what seemed like a regular basis.
