Product engine .051??
Was cleaning some product engines today and found one with a .051 piston cylinder on it.
The strange thing it is twin slit without SPI, taper, and has 2 bypass ports but no boost ports. Estes left over? Doesn't match the NFFS as it should have 1 boost per bypass port. It is not stamped #5 either.
It had a right hand starter spring on it with the black snap starter.

Re: Product engine .051??
If I had to guess, it's a worn out .049 cylinder someone managed to get a .051 piston into. Could explain the taper too. It's really just uneven wear. Or as you suggested, left overs that were fitted together to get rid of some stock. Who knows.

re: .051
Jason: as seen in my current avatar of the ghost .051 medallion the .051 cylinder is a dual slit and the .051 piston does not have the standard ring, but as shown in an older thread they measure the proper diameter for a .051 piston/cylinder set. if I can provide any other pics feel free to PM me.
