Pee Wee RC questions

Pee Wee RC questions
Without wanting to debate the obvious, my questions are:
Is this the correct packaging that went with the engine?
I would peg total production of that vintage at 10,000 to 12,000 units. Does that make sense?

Re: Pee Wee RC questions
I saw that auction. He's out of his mind if he thinks he can get that much. Stapling the package would have been a deal killer for me anyway. I would have reglued it or left it's apart, but included with the engine.

Re: Pee Wee RC questions
Again, this is not about discussing the obvious (price) but if that is the correct packaging (I don't think so) and how many of that older style were made.
Re: Pee Wee RC questions
I've seen them in that package before. It does say r/c on the package.

Re: Pee Wee RC questions
That looks like the correct package as it was before the yellow/green/white blister pack Pee Wee. It does have R/C in yellow at the top. That seller is smoking good stuff with the price he has on that. Stapled package with new engine is $40 to $60 tops for the RC Pee Wee.

Re: Pee Wee RC questions
Missed the part where it says "throttle" on the package.
Select Hobbies has no problems selling newer style Pee Wee's for $75 http://selecthobbies.com/eginesdata.htm
The old style with throttle should pull over $100. The last 3 that went through eBay sold for $120, $150, $220. But $750 .... ok
Just somebody inquiring with us to many were actually made, etc.

Re: Pee Wee RC questions
reading his comments... he states that he's "old and slow.. so please be patient"... and he' 54 years old... That kind of bothered me a little...

WooHoo ! look at that ........ok ok ! not to debate the obvious.
strange thing on that pack I think , the earliest Peewee R/c production was end of 1982, with product number #1001. The one on ebay says #100 which is non-RC version, but why the yellow "RC Throttle equipped " sign on it I don't know.
