Cox Engine of The Month
Jive Fun Flyer

Jive Fun Flyer
I have been working on this for some time. Although it came as an A.R.T.F kit - it was designed specifically for an Irvine .36 or .39 (recommended) glow engine.
It has a 51.3" wingspan and I bought it to set up as a slow "Park Flyer". We have had nothing but wind and rain in the UK for the last three months. The flying fields are too muddy and slippy so I have had plenty of time to play around with this and subject it to electrickery.
I have set it up with the E Flite "safe" receiver ( a la Apprentice 15e). I had quite a few issues setting this up and needed to apply servo reversers (the receiver was designed for the 15e!).
I was also determined not to add additional weight to balance it - so the motor mount was reworked time and time again to get the balance almost spot on. Adjustments can be made by sliding the battery.
Can't wait to fly this - it will be a nice change from the tiny (comparitively) that I have been flying. Just need a combination of time and weather to go for it.
