I was just reading an old plan for a 1/2A plane, and it says it is designed for a Cox
"Stunt Special" .049. What exactly is a "Stunt Special" engine?

Hey Mark, The only time I've ever heard "special" regarding
Cox engines, was the .15 TeeDee(but you knew that).
If it calls for an .049, I'd guess any reedy, with at least a #1
cylinder/piston and a compatable back end. 8cc stunt tank
would probably be in order too(you knew that also).

I'm going with what Bob is saying, that its just what the model designer was calling a reedie with a (8cc) stunt tank?
