Got this old veteran parked in the Tailwinds Hobby Shop Consignment Pile.  Not too bad looking at first, but has it's wing sheeting splitting open (probably at the glue joints).  Looks like the builder really tried to do a good job on the old snake, but it's being sold by a guy who wants to flip it for $200.

Not sure of the engine, and didn't look at it's guts, but it DOES appear to have logged some flight time.

Ah...the memories...

$200 is a tall order!

It's cool for sure, but it's only worth about $50

Yeah...he'll have to drop it way down if he wants to move it.  I think it's really generous of Mitch and Patty to even offer to do consignment sales. Considering the hassle of paperwork and the expectations of the sellers for us to haggle on their part, the tiny commission on the occasional sale hardly seems worth it.

I've hauled my buddy Ed up to the V.A. Hospital here in St. Louis today, so I'll be missing the weekly visit of our " Train Guy"...durn the bad luck !!!

There ARE a couple older engines (a McCoy .19 R/C) in a box that I couldn't get any info on, and may post some photos if somebody here is interested....just like to see them given a good home.

Later !
