Enya .19 reply from Craigslist
I have reposted my Cox Engine wanted ad on Craigslist just yesterday and have gotten a reply. The reply was about a Enya .19. What would you offer for a used complete Enya .19? I personally don't need it but if anyone on here wants it, let me know!
Re: Enya .19 reply from Craigslist
Sight unseen? Depends on how badly you want to dump you Cox.

Re: Enya .19 reply from Craigslist
Looks well used and the NV appears bent, I would offer 10-20 for it maybe a tad more if you really want it. Start low and use the "not sure it will run" or the NV being bent as a bargaining chip. I you get it cheap and don't want it then clean it up, get it running well and post it on Ebay and triple your money. After that go buy a nice cox with your earnings!

I would pay $3 for it.
Looks like junk to me, needs a lot of work.

The NV's on the early Enya's were made with a spring section between the NV body and the knurled knob on the end, specifically to keep from bending the NV proper if you dirtnapped the engine. Over time, the spring might take on a slight bend or the spring section would get a slight kink. I think the NV is probably OK, but the engine does look like it has eaten some dirt.
ENYAs were really good engines, but with steel pistons and sleeves, they took some time to break-in and did require a goodly amount of castor in the fuel. If you took care of the engine and used good fuel and lubricant, they would last forever.
