Need help identifying a cylinder head

Re: Need help identifying a cylinder head
Hmm could be from the old OS .21SE-B car engine not sure if the SE had a separate head button though, the .21SE-B was 86 or 87 vintage. Could also be from an early Rossi Car engine as well. (Bandit)

Re: Need help identifying a cylinder head
Thanks and shall look into that. We received a few 100 engine parts of the following engines, so it's probably for one of them:
OS Max
K & B
Enya
Fuji
Webra
Testors
Skyward / Picco
ASP
Magnum XL
Fox

Re: Need help identifying a cylinder head
I'm not into cars at all, but I think that both OS and Magnum had curved cooling flanges on their heads for car engines.
Also, I don't think they used any "under-head" at that time either, it is a more recent design concept, but this is more of a guess from my side than anything else...

Re: Need help identifying a cylinder head
Because we were not sure for which engine it was, we lumped it into a big lot of K&B and "other" parts:

Re: Need help identifying a cylinder head
The part numbers on the packets make it fairly clear what "brand" they fit. KB (obvious) PER (maybe Perry) SUP ( maybe Super Tigre) etc.

Yeah I had forgotten about that.Surfer_kris wrote:I'm not into cars at all, but I think that both OS and Magnum had curved cooling flanges on their heads for car engines.

I'm still looking but it's possible that it may be from an early Rossi buggy engine because some of the old 3.5cc engines if I recall came with a straight fin cast head before everyone switched to the machined heat sink heads.
Though it could be for an old Royal .21-C but it's a copy of the SE-B .21 from OS and it too doesn't have a separate head button either so nope. (Bandit)

Yes, except this one did not have any markings on the bag.

Please don't worry about it any longer as we lumped it in with a parts lot. Time to move the over 2,000 non-Cox item we had to take with the Cox stash.
