Ez Bee rebuild
Re: Ez Bee rebuild
Decided to save the ez bee from going into the trash. I completely rebuild the nose out of light plywood and balsa, enlarge the vertical stabilizer and rudder and added a small piece of plywood for the landing gear in the nose. The landing gear is from a Sig Hummer and the engine is a Norvel Big Mig 061. It's covered in both monokote and ultracote for the trim scheme and the decals were just leftovers I had laying around.

Ez Bee rebuild
The first photo was after I rebuilt it. The plastic nose cowl crumbled away from years of fuel residue. I actually rebuilt it for my son.

Ez Bee rebuild
I was lucky that the original cowl was in good enough condition that I could trace it on some light plywood and cut it out then everything else just flowed together very easy since my cutout was the same dimensions as the original cowl.

I like it, and it's great to see a Cox Conquest put to good use.
