Cox 049 engine - red horseshoe backplated bee, springstarter, display prop, polished desk ornament

BESPOKE!  (my pal Ed Earl? he tells me that's fancy-talk for truly unique items, his wife Jolene-SueEllen agreed)
- cleaned, polished, rebuilt, mounted.  These could be flown, strong pop-pop compression, but its too pretty to crash...

Well how did you polish this?  common question - long answer.

This was not a quickie .049 build.  this is hours and hours of polishing, cleaning and work, to make a very rare objec-d'art

100% disassemble, ultrasonic wash, distilled water wash, compressed air dry, wipe down with oil, dry again.

slowly, working through different grit levels, multiple cleanings, more polishing with softer and softer, till it gets quite shiny. repeat ultrasonic cleaning, distilled rinse,  to remove all polishing compound, aero-Kroil oil wipedown, wipe with soft cloths

reassemble with new parts from Cox International and/or EX Model Engines - to replace old gasket, reed, ring....

mounted on a hand-carved wooden base, hand-rubbed Tung-oil finish, lovingly made by a bourbon-drunken Texan.

This took incredible effort, work - and is not listed cheap - but you will be thrilled with the product.

This is a superb desk ornament.  Be the ONLY kid on your block with one.   Point it out to others and enjoy their jealous gaze and wanton desire.
Admire the pure beauty of this vintage, flown, American made motor.

PM if interested.

Please look closely at the photos,  what you see? is what you will receive.
Feel free to email questions.  I want YOU, the buyer, to be 100% happy with your unique purchase of artwork.
Will be shipped wrapped in shop towels, in USPS Priority Box.
+$9.69 for shipping to US only
