Re: Carl Goldberg POSTAGE STAMP mount wanted..
I'm sure that someone here can hook you up with either Roddie's bent aluminum mount or Jason's 3D printed mount. I've made several mounts for the postage stamp engines for various uses. But if you want just a dead simple mount for a postage stamp, all you need is a small strip of 1/16" aluminum and some #2 washers or spacers. Won't be pretty, but it'll work. Make the length of the strip the size you want the mount. Probably the length of the long side of a Bee tank back. Then, file down the center a little bit and slot it for the needle valve assembly, like the center of the C.G. mount. Drill the four holes for the 2-56 crank case screws. Then, at the corners of the mount you drill four holes that correspond with the Bee mounting holes. Then attach the mount with several #2 washers or spacers between the plate and the firewall. Just enough to clear the postage stamp venturi tube from the firewall. I don't have a photo of one, but I'll make a terrible drawing to illustrate. If you can figure out my drawing, you can make the mount.

Joel, Ex Model Engines has them for $11.95 US. Don't know how long they will continue to have them, so suggest ordering without wasting time.Michpatriot wrote:Hoping some kind person will dig out a real Carl Goldberg Postage stamp mount or three... Joel

Matt has only 1 left. If you are late, here is another source on ebay, a bit more pricey than Matt's:

Re: Carl Goldberg POSTAGE STAMP mount wanted..
Glad to see you snap up the last one. Carl Goldberg came up with that mount in the early to mid 1960's. Cox went to the postage stamp to reduce RTF production costs. Many of those RTF's had a short lifespan, leaving the owner with a donor engine.
By creating a mount would allow one to buy one of his balsa CL kits and reuse an otherwise good engine. Back then, it sold for a whopping $0.69.
