$71 with an hour and 15 minutes to go. Looks like a good deal. I hope that someone here gets it. I'm guessing about $225 will buy it. Beyond me though.

I went back and looked at it Rod, fairly rare model that is repairable, but I have sworn-off plastic airplanes.............That said I threw a one time proxy bid of $127 at it just to insure that it doesn't go cheap. I'm still sticking at $225 for a final. Either that or ALL the Cox enthusiasts are asleep.
2**9 really wants it. 15 minutes to go............Maybe $175.00 more or less.

So close Bob. $129.50 final bid.

Ah......saved by d***i with a bid higher than mine probably around $150 as it sold for $129.50.. $2.50 higher than mine. My "no more plastic airplanes pledge" remains intact. But...I would have liked it for $73.00.

He was selling a Cox P-40 too for around the same bid. Probably with a P-40 marked engine.
Had I won the Pitts I was going to send it to you....Now we both feel bad...
