1/2a Skyray plans?
Hey all, I’m baaaaaaack!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted or done anything in the hobby. I was wondering if anyone has Skyray plans or just general dimensions available? My father in law gave me a few engines and I want to build something up.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: 1/2a Skyray plans?
Welcome back JP,
Does it need to be a SkyRay, or will any plank wing/profile fuselage plan fit the bill?
I know there are several "similar construction" plans on Outerzone and can post the links. The Stuntman 23 and Stunt Chimp II come to mind, as well as the Top Flite P-39. Those are the ones that come to mind immediately. I'm sure I'll be able to find a smooth half-dozen plans (if not even more) given some time.

That Chimp looks perfect and I can bang 2 of those out in an evening as long as I don’t over complicate it and redesign the whole thing as I go
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: 1/2a Skyray plans?
JP,
This one is kind of cute (I knew I'd remember eventually):
https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=14743
If you think flat tails and fuselages go well with built up wings (I do), then go to Outerzone and find DuaneH's Top Flite Junior Aces (Mustang, Cosmic Wind, and Hurricane). All three are showcased here on CEF.
example: https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=14743
There are plenty of others in this vein.

If you can bear with me I *should* be able to locate my 'plans' from mine by the weekend. I traced them out and can be printed out on letter size paper.

I was able to create a plan from what Roddie posted, but thanks!
