cox .010 crank stuck in crankcase

cox .010 crank stuck in crankcase
Hey i am doing a diesel conversion for my cox .010 and today tried to get the crank out co i could heat treat it but it apears to be stuck does any one have some advice. This has never happened before ans its with all my .010 engines but all my others the cranks come out no problem?

Is the prop driveplate stuck on or is the crankshaft itself stuck?
The crankshaft should just come right out once the driveplate is off, you could try tapping it out with a small hammer. I have never removed a .010 crank but I have built a .010 before and the crankshaft just slid into place like all the other cox engines. You could try heating it, just don't melt the plastic carb body. If you are going to tap it out, wrap the crankcase in a towel so you don't scuff it and then put it in a vice. Screw a prop screw into the crank and then tape the head of the screw.
