lol, I don't know, i'd guess Mr. Eves and all those MECA guys used to roll in new/like new engines from back in the day!

I'm thinking that .049B with the red prop on the right is from a Comet Sabre 44

I don't know either Mark, I have never owned a Comet model.

Is the "flywheel" behind the prop some kind of starter?  Wrap a string around it or something.  I probably hand flipped it to start.  You and Gwillie have me interested in these again.

Cast off Cubs, usually robbed of their glow plugs for other engines.

Found these in my display case along with an Atwood that I didn't know I had. The spinners look like pure Cox.

Cubs are no fun to disassemble. Yours look fairly clean, so I'd do what I could to clean them externally and free them up (heat and oil), run them with high castor fuel, then give them a 10 second or so run with Cool Max to purge of castor and after lube them.
