As it says, besides bleach, any tried methods of removing yellowed fuel stains from white Cox plastic parts? Parts such as the white wing from the Quite Zone Trainer.

Read about RetrOBrite however part is too large for process or to bother with.

Have you tried peroxide? It does wonders for bleaching animal skulls. Can’t see any harm in trying.

I have had some luck polishing Cox plastics using a slow running 4" cotton wheel and polishing compound like Turtle Wax or Novux plastic polish.
White is probably the hardest, some of Cox white plastics yellow from age and that won't come out.
There was a member here that used a compound he made up for this aging yellowing and claimed it worked. Ill try to find that thread, its been a while ago.

Watched a few of those You tube videos on  “RetroBright “ process for computer enclosures and keyboards. For larger items, like a cox Fuselage or wing, I’d guess I would use the Cream paste Peroxide, wrap with shrink wrap and set out in the sun.

Did a walk through our nearby Big Box shopping centers and could not find a single bottle of the stuff used in the video. Found some on amazon but was costly + shipping. One of the user reviews was negative about the size and price then mentioned to see if you have a Sally Beauty store near you. I do! Going there soon to buy some of this cheap!!

That's what I used as per this thread:

https://www.coxengineforum.com/t12926-de-yellowing-plastic

Marleysky, do not shrink wrap the part in question and then place into the sun. You'll end up with streaking on the plastic from the different layers of plastic. I went to the big box store and purchased Glad large clear storage bags. They are big enough for sporting equipment etc. Easily the wing and fuselage will fit inside. The only purpose of the bag is to prevent drying out of the creme. This process worked well for me:

It's the fuselage of the reverse color QZ Trainer. The oval remnant of the Cox sticker on the fuselage is the hint. I'll post a completed pic soon.

Thus far, Sunlight and Peroxide creme has proven to be the best solution for diminishing fuel soaked stains within plastic.
