So where’s the best place to buy OS P4 plugs? Found these gold plated P4s on eBay.

I agree 1/2 A Nut
I just got a turbo head for my .051 cox engine project and a .010 rear mounting plate for one of my .010's I'm working on from Greg.
My only question is, when is he going to start making heads for .010's? or is it over-kill?
He does some of the best machining I've ever seen. very nice.

What one can hope for with the TD .010 is a micro muffler with pressure tap and RC carb.
A aluminum crankcase with bearings would be the icing on the cake with a full wave tuned pipe.

Like this simply use the existing NV and body swap out the venturi for a throttle barrel aka air choke.

Turbo heads by Kamtechnik - Page 2 02s-b310

Components this small don't cost much in aluminum but will take some effort for good fit and finish dialing in
program for the CNC machine will take a bit of time but worth it around $50 bucks for the set to enjoy good oil
spray control and RC throttle. I have 11 TD .010's all have the upgraded radial mounts and aluminum carb bodies.

Its not out of the realm, I have a small ball bearing that has a 1 mm center hole. let me look around and I'll see if I can find it.
That wasn't a joke. Laughing

Ok I'm going to let this cat out of the bag. In some of the mining projects we were working on before I retired we used Teflon o-rings for bearings.

plenty of cool air but still hot! See pic like this full boat the whole enchilada!

Brad I found that bearing I was telling you about. it is 1mm I.D. x 2.5mm O.D. Its in the 25 cent coin holder in the photo.so they do make them small enough to use in the Tee Dee .010
but it is just a standard precision bearing not ceramic.I didn't realize you where turning 40 grand rpm on your .010's. I think ceramic would be the best choice,if you can find them that small.
and what they say is true, if the weather is just right and you turn out the light at nite on these engines.
they do tend to multiply by morning. Very Happy

Yes the .020 turbo plugs need to be a positive boost in power.
Perhaps one day micro mufflers and RC carbs.

Yes very small bearing!
I have used down to 2mm for wire drives and a 1.5mm
ceramic bushing.

Here is a clip example downwind with a stock 3x1.25 prop.

NANO- TD .010 / 41,985 rpm / 50 mph PS / 3x1.25 Prop
Doppler down wind showed 53 mph.

Example I used a 2 mm wire drive with bearings and teflon tube / grease:

1/2A  Picco P-Zero .05 Car Engine - Outrigger Hydro Profi 1/2A Tuned Pipe
Stock X427 prop / 20% castor 30% Nitro. Per Doppler
reading best pass 62.25 Kph or 38.68 mph. / 27,290 rpm

Brad that small plane with the .010 ripping up the sky is great.
Thanks for the video.and that out rigger wasn't nothing to sneeze at.
when you get it dialed in I think its going to be really impressive.
Anyway I just put together a new Cox .051 Tee Dee with RC throttle control and a Kamtechnik head.
I found and ordered a Merlin Glow Plug 7EHD Turbo Ceramic Sealed.
have you tried these glow plugs and if so what do you think of them with a high compression heads like the Kamtechnik head?
thanks for your time, Basswood

The 5 is a med heat which you would need for a .049 engines, I test .020 with P4 plugs.
The 7 is a cold plug ok for higher % nitro like 35 - 40%
A cold plug is better suited for 20 size and up or a hot .15

The full line of Kamtechnik COX turbo heads from 020 through 049/050/051 to 09 and 015 .. thank you Greg!

Because of Covid the small package traveled almost a month from Chicagoland to Budapest, but it finally made it.

Took 6 days for mine to arrive. Chicago is a 4 hour drive from here. USPS must have gone back to using pony express or pointed the donkey north and slapped it on the butt.

Worth the wait.

lol!

My package may have been shipped with the postman down on his knees and hands, paddling backwards across the Atlantic Ocean, the small box held tight between his jaws.

Mine was shipped 21 days ago and still shows to be in Illinois! I’m starting to wonder if it has been lost.

The same thing happened to me...the tracking was frozen on November 5th with the pack reported to have been received in Illinois, and nothing followed on the tracking site, until this morning when the Hungarian Post texted me to come and collect the package in their office nearest to me (they seem to have limited shipping capacities in Covid times)

So I suggest you just sit and wait until the big bang...

Don't forget to oil the threads for the plug and adapter.
You may have to play around with the shims some to find the best rpm.
