Re: Interesting Model and Engine
From the picture I would guess that it is an Aurora Tornado by K&B, but I don't own any of these engines myself.

Re: Interesting Model and Engine
Yes, Aurora SE5A with the Aurora/K&B .060 engine.
It looks like it has been modified to house the engine right side up as these left the factory with the engine inverted. It's possible that it was a non control line kit made into control line. Easy way to tell is to check the outer struts on the left side to see if they have lead-out holes molded into them. Also only white models left the factory fully assembled as control line models. Olive drab kits were screwdriver assembled by the buyer.

Interesting picture Mark, I saved it for my records. Do you know it's history? Looks aged.
Funny way the elevator/horizontal stab is assembled to the fuselage. Stabilizer goes in backwards, then twisted 180 then attach elevator.

Wish I did, it's from the Facebook group. Had a couple guys correct me on the white plastic kits, must of been right after production stopped on gas powered version.
Re: Interesting Model and Engine
I remember when the family toy and hobby business bought several cases of those screw driver kits circa 1968 from some closeout merchant at the NY Toy Show. We must have paid $1.25 per kit.
