Re: COX R/C E-Z Bee...
I just use 2 Alkaline D-Cell batteries wired up in parallel myself. I have a pack I soldered up together, as well as I bought a plastic battery holder that holds 2 D-Cells. I jsut re-wired it so it is correct. That one I just use crimp terminals on teh ends and can screw them on and off as required.

Thanks guys and thanks for the link to the servos! I then found 1 servo that is less than $9 (Sanwa 102Z) so we'll see but a good start so far to get things ready.

So is the fuel in the old Cox 400 sets still usable?

Technically, the answer I was given was yes, according to Bernie (who runs COX International and where I bought my glow heads/plugs and spare prop from). However he also said "The fuel is most likely stale and we have included a link to our fuel guide under #1. We do not sell any fuel, sorry."
Below is the link to the COX fuel guide...

I don’t know how to locate the video or thread, but our Trusty old engine and fuel tester, Roddie! Posted a video of him starting and running a 049 engine with some 25-30 year old Cox fuel. It ran just fine!!

As long as the can has not been opened, yes you can use it just shake the can good first to make sure the oil is mixed in. also in addition, Not sure if it's been mentioned but I would refrain from using the Cadet radio in the kit while in its time it was an ok unit, today, not so good. 72MHz is still leagle just not used much anymore I cant remember if its AM or not if it's band is AM don't use it very susceptible to interference.
And by the way, I know this thread has been active a while and Ive been inactive I still got to say it, welcome to the forum!
